On 18 March 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00, stakeholders from across Europe will gather at the European Parliament in Brussels for EU Livestock 2030, a high-level event exploring the future of the European livestock sector. Participation is available both in person and online, ensuring broad engagement from policymakers, researchers, industry representatives and civil society.
As the European Union advances ambitious sustainability and transparency goals, the livestock sector must balance policy expectations with economic viability and evolving consumer demands. This event will examine how authenticity, trust and competitiveness can be strengthened across the livestock value chain, and what practical steps are needed to ensure resilience by 2030.
The programme will include opening remarks from Members of the European Parliament and representatives of the European Commission, followed by expert presentations and a dynamic panel discussion. EU Livestock 2030 provides a timely platform for dialogue at the heart of European policy making, bringing together key actors to shape a transparent, sustainable and competitive future for Europe’s livestock sector.
