Taking place on 28 August, Session 76 will bring together researchers and stakeholders to discuss new approaches for assessing the environmental, economic and social dimensions of livestock production. The programme includes oral presentations on circularity, sustainability assessment methods, life cycle assessment, biodiversity monitoring, animal welfare, meat quality and resilience across European livestock systems.

The session will also feature a poster exhibition presenting research on animal welfare, life cycle assessment methodologies, participatory approaches and innovative modelling tools supporting more sustainable livestock value chains.

Through this joint initiative, the participating projects aim to foster knowledge exchange and contribute to the transition towards more sustainable and resilient livestock systems in Europe.
