The INTAQT project will host its Final Scientific Conference on 11 September 2026 at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg (Room X7), bringing together researchers, industry stakeholders, policymakers and practitioners to share key findings from the project and discuss the future of sustainable livestock production and high-quality animal products.

Under the theme“Combining Sustainable Farming with High-Quality and Authentic Chicken and Cattle Products”, the conference will present insights generated throughout the INTAQT project, highlighting innovative approaches to assessing and improving product quality, authenticity, sustainability, animal health and stakeholder engagement across livestock value chains.

The programme begins with a welcome coffee and introduction by Bruno Martin and Cécile Berri, followed by a series of scientific presentations covering the project’s main research areas. Topics include stakeholder involvement, nutritional value, sensory features, health and safety quality, and the development of multicriteria assessment tools. Presentations will be delivered by leading INTAQT researchers, including Florence Bédoin, Stefaan De Smet, Massimiliano Petracci, Fenja Klevenhusen, Lucille Rey-Cadilhac, Leo Darrigade, and Yann Guyot.

After lunch, participants will explore the project’s practical applications through sessions on Living Labs, authentication and prediction tools, environmental impacts and feed-food competition, and the question of whether multiperformance can be achieved within livestock systems. These sessions will be presented by Enrico Sturaro, Rennie Eppenstein, Carmen Manuelian, Massimo De Marchi, Marco Berton, Eléa Caumette, and Cécile Berri.

The conference will conclude with an open discussion and a wrap-up session led by Bruno Martin, Cécile Berri, and Dina Lopes, providing an opportunity to reflect on the project’s achievements and future perspectives for sustainable and authentic livestock production.
