After five years of research, INTAQT is bringing its results to Brussels. On 29 October 2026, the project will hold its final seminar, Combining Sustainable Farming with High-Quality and Authentic Chicken and Cattle Products, at Copa-Cogeca. The seminar will look at what the project has learned and what it means for farmers, quality schemes and EU policy.

What to expect

The seminar is organised around one question: how can sustainable farming go hand in hand with high-quality and authentic chicken and cattle products? It starts with an overview of the project and its “One Quality” concept. The morning then moves from research results to practice and policy.

The programme includes:

  • How production systems shape product quality. Presentations on what INTAQT has found for chicken meat, beef and dairy products.
  • Is farm multiperformance achievable? A discussion of whether farms can deliver quality, sustainability and resource efficiency at the same time.
  • From results to practice. An introduction to the project’s practice abstracts and tools for farmers and advisors.
  • Panel discussion. What do the results mean for farmers, quality schemes and EU policy?

The seminar closes with a Q&A session, so participants can put their questions to the project team.

Who should attend

The seminar is open to farmers and advisors, producer and industry organisations, quality scheme representatives, researchers, policymakers and anyone interested in the future of livestock production in Europe.
